You Can Return Your Order Within 14 Days

If your new item doesn't fit, doesn't quite work for you, or just isn't what you'd hoped for, you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to return it. No reason needed.

We've tried to make this as simple as possible.

Choose How You'd Like Your Return Handled

When you return, you can pick one of three options:

A) Store credit (100%) — a voucher for the full value of what you're returning, to use on any future order.

B) Refund of the returned item(s) value — back to your original payment method. (Original shipping isn't refunded — see below.)

C) Exchange — swap for another piece from our collection. Contact us first so we can reserve the new item for you while yours is on its way back.

How to Return — Two Simple Steps

Step 1. Email us within 14 days of receiving your order.

Send us a message at info@melittaofficial.com within those 14 days, letting us know:

  • Your order number
  • Which item(s) you're returning
  • The reason (optional, but helpful for us)
  • Which option (A, B, or C) you'd like

That email is what officially starts your return. If you'd prefer to use a standard withdrawal form instead, just let us know and we'll send one over — but an email works just as well.

Step 2. Send the item back within 14 days of that email.

Once you've notified us, you have another 14 days to actually send the item back. Please reuse the original packaging where you can — be eco-hearted about it!

Pop in your packing slip or a note with your order number, so we know whose return it is when it arrives.

What Condition Items Need to Be In

To qualify for a refund or exchange, please send items back:

  • Tried on as you would in a fitting room, not worn beyond that
  • In resaleable condition, without significant wear, damage, alteration, or signs of being laundered
  • With all original tags still attached, where they had them
  • In their original packaging, where possible

If an item comes back showing more use than just being tried on, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.

Items We Can't Accept Back

For hygiene reasons, some items can't be returned:

  • Earrings — once they're out of their sealed packaging, they can't come back.
  • Swimwear — returnable only if the hygiene seal / protective strip is still intact and the original tags are attached. Once the seal is removed, swimwear can't be returned.

Return Shipping

Return shipping is on you, unless the return is due to something on our side (defective item, damaged in transit, wrong item — see below).

You can use whichever postal service you like. For convenience, we also offer:

  • Customers in Greece: send via ACS courier with recipient charge — a fixed €3 is then deducted from your refund, or added as cash on delivery on your exchange parcel.
  • EU & international customers: shipping is arranged and paid by you.

Heads up: the original shipping cost and the cash-on-delivery fee (if your order had one) aren't refundable.

When You'll Get Your Refund

We process refunds within 14 days of either receiving your returned item, or receiving proof that you've sent it — whichever occurs earlier.

The refund goes back to your original payment method:

  • Credit/debit card, PayPal, or other electronic payment → refunded to the same account.
  • Cash on delivery → refunded by bank transfer. We'll ask for your IBAN when handling the return. Greek bank accounts work best (Eurobank, Ethniki Bank, and Piraeus typically clear most smoothly).

Once we've issued the refund, how long it takes to actually show up depends on your bank or card provider — that part's out of our hands.

Something Wrong with Your Order?

If your item arrives defective, damaged in transit, or just isn't what you ordered, get in touch with us at info@melittaofficial.com as soon as you can — ideally within a few days of delivery. Send your order number and a couple of photos showing the issue.

In these cases:

  • We cover the return shipping cost.
  • You can choose between a replacement, an exchange, or a full refund (this time including the original shipping).

Beyond 14 Days: The 2-Year Guarantee

The 14-day return window is just one part of it. Even after that, if a product turns out to be defective within two years from delivery, you have the right to a repair, a replacement, a partial refund, or — in qualifying cases — a full refund.

Just email us with your order number and a description of the issue and we'll sort it out.

A Quick Note on Operational Things

If a return shows up without prior notification, without an order number, or in clearly unsalable condition, we may have to send it back at your expense.

That said, if you've emailed us within the 14-day window, your right to return stands even if something in the process went slightly sideways. Just talk to us — we'd much rather work it out than send anything back.
